Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me!!! Oh yes, today is my 5th birthday. As always Human was planning my birthday celebration a few days in advance. And for my 5th birthday, I was told that Human was going to cook a very yummy, homemade birthday meal with salmon, and peas, and rice, especially for me!

This is the list of my birthday presents:

Before we go any further with my birthday celebration, this is the recipe of my yummy homemade birthday meal with steamed salmon, peas and carrots, and rice:

What human needs:

• 60 gram of fresh salmon or frozen salmon fillets
• 20 gram of cooked rice
• 20 gram of peas

What human needs to do:

• Wash the salmon and slice it into pieces
• Put the cooked rice, peas, and the salmon in a microwave-safe bowl such as Pyrex bowls
• Pour 1 – 2 tablespoons of (plain) water into the bowl
• Cover the bowl with a microwave-safe lid such as Cuchina Safe Lids
• Microwave it for about 5 minutes
• Mix the food using a fork, or blend it using a handheld blender such as Chefman Immersion Blender
• Serve the food to your cat

So, as opposed to the previous birthdays, in which I was always given some commercial, ready-made birthday meals, I was now enjoying my yummy, homemade birthday meal.

It’s so yummy that I finished it only within a few minutes, and I started to star at Human for more and more of that meal.

And Human said okay– well because it’s my 5th birthday after all.

Yes, yes, yes, I loved, loved my homemade birthday meal so much that Human said that she’s going to cook that meal more often. Thank you, Human.
