Human loves traveling — especially abroad very much. Me? Not so much! But I do love being with Human 24/7, so I follow her whenever, wherever she goes, including traveling abroad. Last year, we decided to travel to several cities in Germany by train, first-class trains of course 🙂
After a lot of preparation and planning such as how to travel, where to sleep — pet-friendly hotels, what to visit and so on and so forth, we started our train’s journey from Tilburg in the Netherlands to Dresden in Germany.
Watch my train journey from Tilburg to Dresden:
It was a long, exhausting train journey with a lot of fun and lots more strange things to see and unfamiliar people to sniff at.
As soon as we arrived at our pet-friendly hotel called InterCity Hotel Dresden, Human let me check out the hotel, to have some water and snack, and to chill out.
Of course, I also had to make sure that our hotel bathroom amenities and comfort facilities were at the ready.
A pet-friendly hotel was not complete without my own Litter Kwitter to pee and poo on during my travel in Dresden.
I really liked the view of our hotel. Human also brought me to almost every floor of the hotel so I could enjoy various views through the windows before we went on to the city center.
The next few days we went on an adventure to some amazing, beautiful, pet-friendly parks in and around the city of Dresden. One of my favorite parks was the Technischen Universitaet Dresden Botanical Garden.
My other favorite park was The Grand Garden of Dresden. This park was HUGE with lots of beautiful things to see and explore. But for some odd reasons, I was more interested in those white benches. I kept on sniffing them until Human carried me back to our hotel.
Nothing beats a good night sleep after a long, adventurous few days. So, on the last evening in Dresden, we went to bed early because we had to catch our morning train departing for Cologne.
Dresden is a beautiful city with various pet-friendly parks to (re-)visit with your pets. The InterCity Hotel Dresden is also great accommodation, not only because it’s pet-friendly but also strategically located next to/in front of the railway station of Dresden.
